I'm trying to figure out why an alignment cost $140. I've never had an alignment cost more than 40 or 45 and I've always had full size Chevys. I've never went to a dealer for an alignment though.

He is spending Canadian dollars, they are not worth as much as US dollars, so it takes more of them.

I clicked on your post because it sounded a lot like the issue I was having. Glad it worked out for you, but I would be absolutely furious about having to pay for the alignment. You can start with a letter, but be prepared to have to take it further. I kept a journal as something similar happened to me. It ended up as an 8 page letter to GM in the end.
