So I finally bought a Diablo sport tuner mainly to fix my speedo. I know it can void warranty and it does flash the computer showing you did something

 

My question is this, with the Diablo there are different setting and tunes. Does the computer only flash once? Or does it flash and Count each time you plug the Diablo sport in and make a change or adjustment?

It's not so much a flash counter like others say it is, it's a flash tracker. It stores the last 12-14 checksums. A GM checksum can't be duplicated by any tuner, so GM can see if anyone has flashed a non-gm callibration within the last 12-14 flashes.

 

The only way around it is to be on good terms with a GM service department that will reflash 12-14 times going back and forth between 2 calibrations to bump your custom flashes off the list.

Ok I was just worried because my dealer clearly told me I could buy the Diablo tune to modify to read the correct tire size.

 

But I've been messing with it because I do just the tire size and when I drive, my speedo is still off the same it was before

Can't figure out why it won't read correctly with the tire size updated. Also made sure the gear ratio was correct
