SLT wood trim options

Hey all. I don't own a sierra quite yet but plan to pick one up...I'm 46 and this will be my first GM vehicle. I don't mean to offend anyone but I personally hate wood trim in vehicles. The SLT has wood unless you get the All Terrain SLT...then it's much nicer brushed aluminum. Is there a accessorie to cover the wood? Other than paint of course. I like the All Terrain but I fear it may be a harsher ride than then standard SLT? Thanks everyone. ..sorry for newbie type questions.

Many have wrapped their trim and I've done it in my car, I plan to do it to my truck to get rid of the wood look.

GM sells a silver/stainless trim on their accessory site - http://www.gmc.com/vehicles/current-vehicles/2016-sierra/accessories/accessories.html# If they don't have exactly what you want there, you can replace your trim with trim from the AT or Z71 by going through a GM dealer.

I agree on the SLT wood trim - it looks horrible. That's one of the items that drove me toward the Denali.

I agree on the SLT wood trim - it looks horrible. That's one of the items that drove me toward the Denali.

$250 for new trim? I'm almost tempted to do this instead of wrap.

I have seen in other threads members who have got parts from gmpartsdirrect.com

I did a quick search of the part number for my Crew Cab and you can save another $50ish. Shipping to me in AZ is $17 but if you are closer is could be a little less.

I think I may got this route with my '16 LTZ. They show it is only available for '15s. But I am assuming they would work on a 16.

I just question if this covers all the pieces if you have the full center console and not a jump seat.

I opened a chat with Rick and Monkey Trucks. He sent me a picture of what is included and I am still a little confused. It looks like it has the pieces to do the console but it looks like it doesn't have enough pieces to do all 4 door. I would assume all 4 doors would be included, and the console parts would be additional.

If anyone has ordered this kit and installed it could you clarify this.

Also every ebay store and parts site I visit say this is for 2015s only. Not 2016.

It looks like a center console plus then four door trim pieces. Those longer pieces are front door trim, shorter pieces are rear door trim. Different kits for Crew and double cabs.

2016 has a different center console than 2015, so that might be why it's only for 2014/2015 and not 2016.
