2012 no reverse lights

I have a 2012 Chevrolet 2500 hd Lt. I was going to install an after market back up camera I bought and noticed no reverse lights. I checked all the fuses they were good.No power to back up wire on trailer plug either. They do work with the key fob when locking the doors. Thanks for any help.

Update, reverse light do work at night, I looked for a way on the dash to change perimeter lighting but this truck don't have that option. Is this something they can do at the dealership?

I think on these era trucks (GMT900) that it has to be on or running for certain lights to come on, brakes and reverse IIRC.
