Wheel studs

I have an 04 Z71 that seems to have a problem snapping wheel studs. Over the last couple years, I've had to replace 5 or 6 of them VB on the front passenger wheel and I can't figure out why. The wheels are balanced, I keep the front end aligned and I always tighten the lug nuts every time I put them back on. I don't use a torque wrench to tighten them so the only possibility I can think of is maybe over tightening them but I never have a super hard time getting them off, not any harder than it should be.

Any ideas you guys have would be appreciated. I'd really like to figure it out so my tire doesn't fall off.

I'd start from scratch with new hubs that have studs. Then torque lug nuts to 150 ft lb, I think that's the spec.

On my old truck ('98 Z71) and the '14 I have now it's 140 so I can only assume all of the gens between these 2 are also 140. At least for the 1500s anyways. My buddy's '06 Sierra Z71 is also 140.

Only on the front passenger?

Yes. Haven't had any problems with the other ones. Probably going to replace the whole bearing

I believe the torque is 100ft-lbs. it's a 1500 after all.

Every TQ spec for wheel lugs for a 1500 has been as I said, 140. And I'm talking about that's what it says in the manual. Said 140 for my '98 Z71, my buddy's '06 Sierra and no my '14 Silverado. All 1500s. Also 100 wouldn't be enough because 100-105 is the TQ spec for that same buddy's '03 Mustang V6.

Oh sh*t, I gotta tighten mine then... I would look in my manual, but I got my truck used and the manual was torn and abused. So thank you for letting me know. I appreciate it!!
