I tried replacing the cabin air filter but the moldy smell persists. I always forget to turn off the AC 5 minutes before I turn off the car to let it dry out.

It's not my job to turn off the AC on a 95 degree days 5 minutes and suffer because of a hack job by GM or whoever mfg the vehicle.  IMO it's just plain lazy engineering or short cut to get the car out the door to be sold.

My Subaru never smelled and it was a 10 yr old car. LOL 2 yrs only and the Chevy is smelling? hmm.. anyways the after blow is on now I can hear and feel it while I was replacing my in cabin filter.

This is happening to my 2018 Denali. It’s been to the dealer several times..getting ready to be taken again. I didn’t pay this much money for it to stink.
