Do I need new struts with suspension lift?

I'm currently looking at the rough country 5in suspension lift for a 2wd

http://www.roughcountry.com/gm-suspension-lift-kit-247-8.html

Looking to see if I'm needing new fronts struts with this kit? I do not know much about suspension, lifts and can't seem to figure this out. It comes with rear shocks I see but no mention of struts. Just wanna make sure I don't need these if the kit works without struts. Thank in advance.

With that lift kit you retain your stock struts. It just pushes everything down by way of the differential drop bracket and then upper strut spacers.

Perfect. Thank you for the info!! Is anyone running this lift? I didn't notice but does it require any cutting or anything?

Yes that kit requires cutting. I am pretty sure that the only kits that don't require cutting are those that are only spacer lifts that are the same as a level kit but stretch your angles to the extreme. YouTube the 5in lift and you can see videos of them installing that lift on similar trucks which will answer the questions you have better than just reading it.
