My buddy and I just picked up an 81 Chevy step van. All I know is its an 81 Chevy, on 1 ton running gear, a propane 350, and is it a Grumman Olson body? Can anyone tell me more about this thing? I tried searching the forum and not much about it here.

Don't know much but I would suspect it's built on a P30 chassis.The same as RVs.

  Didn't I read where if Gm does the valve body on the "Allison", you get a 10yr/150k warranty? Kinda wish mine has a minor blip around 24k. Get a free trans service, and a pile of warranty.
