09 Sierra After 100k Miles

I'm wondering how the GMC Sierra 1500s (specifically 2009 Crew Cab SLT) hold up after 100k miles. What types of issues do you know occur around that time and/or what would you expect to see? The wife and I are truck shopping and found a great looking 09 Sierra but has 82k miles. This would be a truck I'd drive for a while so I'd like to know if its a worthy investment. Thanks in advanced folks!

Additional info: 5.3L V8, 2WD

I have an 06 with over 181,000 miles. The only things of significance I've had to deal with are;

Replacing front hubs (4wd) a number of times. However, the ones that are in it now have lasted by far the longest of all of them - probably 70-80,000 miles now.

Because I'm in the salt belt, I've also had to replace all fuel, trans and brake lines, due to rust.

I did have to replace the G80 differential, as it kept locking up when it wasn't supposed to. I replaced it with a Truetrac.

I do all my own maintenance and repair work, with the exception of warranty work when the truck was newer, and some body work due to a deer strike

Pretty decent I'd say! I'm becoming convinced at what info I can dig up. It's an SLT with leather seats that my kids will have to work to destroy as well so it will be hard to pass it up. Thank you for the input!

Need to be prepared to do a front end job on it at some point. Those trucks were bad for wearing out ball joints around 100k. Got a few buddies with that body style/year model and they all had to do front end work around 100k. I also had a 2011 with 100k on it when I traded it. Nothing at all was wrong with it but I did notice some play in the front end and I'm pretty sure it was worn ball joints. Other than that no major issues on those trucks that I know of.

If it has had regular oil changes up to this point, and continues to do so it will run for 300K with no issues as long as you tune it and disable the Active Fuel Management, or plan on spending about 2K as you get closer to 200K miles on lifters and a VLOM. Anyway, if the price is right, go buy the truck and enjoy it, it will last a long time.
