Heated seats and seat covers

Is it wise to install seat covers on my cloth heated seats of my 2016 Silverado?

I think it is wise to install seat covers over cloth seats, whether heated or not. They will protect the cloth and the heated seats will normally work fine. I like the clazzio perforated leather seat covers as they are DIY and fit super tight and make it look like you upgraded to new leather seats. They work with heated and cooled seats and side impact airbags.

If you have heated seats, cloth or no, adding a seat cover is fine. You will still feel the heat.

Had heavy vinyl padded covers over heated cloth seats on my last vehicle and figured I'd never feel the heaters - they were fine.
