"Pop Up" Goose Neck Hitch

I got my 2016 White GMC Diesel Denali.

 

 

Yesterday I got the "Pop Up" Goose Neck installed at a local shop.I had them leave off the U bolts so I can install a bed rug. I had to find a longer set of U bolts which I got from Etraler on line. I got the 6308 kit and its 5/8 thickness and 5-1/2 inches longer.

 

 

This is my old 2014 GMC Denali with the bed rug installed before I installed the U bolts. If you notice way up to the front of the bed. I have the 7 pin trailer wiring plug. I can reach over the bed rail and connect the trailer cable. I don't like a cable laying on the bed.

 

 

It made it a lot easier to get inside the back bed. Easier on the knees.

 

If you look close you can see the handle next to the oval sticker. All you have to do is pull the handle and the ball will rise in place.. When your done towing all you do is push the bar in and the ball will drop down. Ran it for several years and loved it. Your aking why the bed rug.... well I still have to climb into the bed to latch or unlatch the reciever of the goose neck. SOON that will change to a cable pull latch system.
