loss of power on incline

was pulling a 14ft boat up a rocky sandy hill.i had the pedal to the floor and it wasnt doing anything. just bogged out. no throttle response. no tire spinning. had 1/2 tank of fuel

How many miles are on it? Maybe the transmission was slipping like crazy or something

put it in 4WD LOW

it has only 200 kms. so in miles not suretried in both 4x4 ranges same thing. would my cold air intake system have anything to do with it?

Sorry, no ideas here unless there is something in the towing setup that reduces power on certain types of driving conditions.

a weak fuel pump or faulty FP regulator could do something like this (so it runs, but doesn't get enough gas to get real power)

ya it runs doesnt stall just lacks power .unresponsive

You could pull the vacuum hose off the fuel pressure regulator and see if there's gas in it. If there is, it's bad. Also, does the pump sound nice and crisp when you turn the key or does it sound tired?
