So I am starting a new thread in regards to my build at the suggestion of another member.

So far I have taken a 2016 stock z71 5.3L 3.42 tran and started from scratch.

Added n-fab bed access steps.

18% carbon tints 55% on the windshield.

Range technology AFM V8 chip

Line-x premium bed liner (tomorrow)

Next week:

Mcgaughys 8" suspension lift

Fuel Matte black 20" rims

Mastercraft courser MXT 35x12.50r20

Flow master super 44 catback exhaust

I did the windshield also due the greenhouse effect of this truck. BIG difference, no need to put up the sun visor most times. Looking good!!

Tints look great as well as the line x spray in bed liner. But, bad news bros. they ordered the wrong lift. Going to be another week while I wait for the black lift. The shop was super cool about it so I give them props. Also the wheel company sent the machined version of the vapors as the matte black is back ordered for 90 days. We looked everywhere. Again the shop went above and beyond and comped me for the more expensive option I chose. Going with the deep lip fuel octane 20"s at this point. Disappointing that I have to wait but glad to know the shop I chose has my best interest in mind. Kind of pumped but kind of not for a Friday. Happy weekend boys. College football starts in two weeks.

Happy for you on the tint and bed liner. Feel your pain though as I'm sure any small complication preventing the rest would drive me crazy. I remember when I was waiting on all my modifications every moment was feeling like forever, but after it all came together it was worth the wait and I'm sure it will be the same for you.

Thanks, I feel like Christmas just got postponed. I would rather wait and have it be right though.

SO I finally got my lift on. Super stoked. I am going to add another 2" to the rear with the add a leaf option. The bed / back sags about an inch lower than the front and so the shop that installed the lift agreed to add it at the cost of the part. cannot say enough about how awesome they have been. I am also going to get the flow master super 44 installed Friday. Thinking about some different bumper options now and I am also going to add the fender flares.

truck looks awesome lifted - it was worth the wait I'm sure. How does the McGaughey lift ride compared to stock? I'm thinking about that lift one day....

Thanks super stoked. I think the Mcgaughey's lift rides as well or better than the stock suspension. Definitely feels smoother. I still need to add a leaf to the back though. It sags about a 1/2" from the front and I am being nitpicky but.... Why not.
