Clunk when shuting down

Hping anybody heard of this one before. When i shut the engine down i hear a weird "clunk" from the passenge side of the engine compartment. HOt or cold engine. what could that be?

sounds to me, like some thing to do with your HVAC ,like a door closing sound,right?

seatec, I have a suggestion for you.....if you installed the "Filter Clog Indicator" on the end of your filter cover when you installed the FIPK it is probably hitthing the inner fender!! When I installed mine the clamp came loose and it made a clunking noise when I shut the engine down. Good Luck

Did you ever figure it out.......I have the Dur/Alli combo and mine also makes a weird sound sometimes, never all the time. This morning when I pulled into work and shut it down it kinda made a sound like it clunked out of the engine compartment. Mine is stock.......only hear it every once and a while?
