1985 John Deere 318. Onan, dual hydraulics, hand hydro. I bought it used after I shattered my foot a few years ago. It came with a 50" deck, snow thrower, and hydraulic tiller. All this for about 1/3 acre. You can never have too much truck or too much tractor.

Scotts (made by John Deere) Got this one after our old Craftsman ruined a transaxle and I finally got tired of mowing in the only remaining gear, reverse.

I run a John Deere push mower and weedwacker. My dad just handed me down his '74 Toro 880 riding mower, though. Since my yard is small I took the mowing deck off and I'm using it as a yard tractor with a trailer to haul stuff around. The Toro looks and runs like the day he bought it- I learned how to back a trailer with that when I was a kid.

A Snapper 28" cut 9hp rear engine for cutting around my house and yard. It has a Briggs engine.

Also have two old Montgomery Wards 3.5hp push mowers with Tecumseh engines and a couple of gas weed wackers.

You a landscaper HillHound? I am thinking of getting in the business.

No Paco, but I did do alot of mowing, tree removal and yard maintenence when I was in HS and college. I bought a couple of old mowers, weed wackers, hand tools and chain saws and advertised in the local paper. Spent almost as much time working on my machines sometimes as I did using them! :D

A couple years I had a job mowing a mid-sized park. It was maybe 5 acres. They paid good and had a riding mower to use but it was a b*tch trimming around all the kiddie swings, trees, trails and fences they had. One time there I pushed a hand mower into a bush and busted open a yellow jacket's nest. Got stung over 30 times and ended up in the ER. Come to think of it I got bee stung alot when I was young. Should've got hazard pay maybe! :D

Now I own a few pieces of property that I take care of along with my house/yard. Still sell some firewood every fall but that's about it. Mowing and landscaping is good job, but you have to do good work to keep customers. Hard work too-especially in the summer.
