Husky Kickback Mudflaps ??

Anyone running the husky kickback weighted mud flaps? i'm running a 12.5 wide tire, so I'm thinking id have to go with the 14" flap compared to the 12". Would just like to see if anyones running these and at what tire size. Pictures are appreciated ! Also any recommendations on mud flaps !

We just got our Husky mudflaps. I am not sure what size they are since my husband ordered them. I will check with him and let your know tomorrow. I am on my way to a meeting.

Okay, first of all we have 20 inch wheels on my 2500. But I also have a 2015 1500. When I first started posting on this website there was a posting asking who had a 2014/15 Silverado that lived in my area. Turned out that the person needed someone with my truck year to try out the new Husky mudguards. So I was given the mudflaps on my 1500 as a test run. He installed them and then I gave him information about how they were working and under what conditions.

When I purchased my 2500 we immediately decided to get the Husky mudguards

We have purchased them. The part number is 56881 for the front and 57881 for the rear. They do state ( on both boxes) that they aren't for the Silverados with factory flares. These will fit the 1500s as well as the 2500/3500. We have not installed them on my 2500 as yet. But they are obviously on my 1500. I can post pictures of them on my 1500, which does have the 18 inch wheel. If you need, I will also post pictures once they are on the 2500. I was thinking that they were going to be two different sizes since my 2500 wheel are so much taller and that the 2500 sits 4 inches taller than my 1500. But my hubby said no, and the box that they came is states the same thing.

They have been on my 1500 for around 16 months and have held up very well. They have prevented mud and rocks from hitting my travel trailer under harsh conditions. Our favorite local campsite is 2 1/2 miles down a dirt/gravel road. I was assisting the campground host most of the summer last year, so I spent a lot of time going back and forth on the unpaved sections of the road. The rough estimate of my trailer towing miles would be 4,000 miles. We were on a 3 week (2,000) mile trip in May/June. We had so really good downpours, the mudguards did their job. Once I jumper my phone to my computer I will be able to post the pictures.

I am interested in installing some mudflaps but the ones I have seen here locally on the 1500's look pretty tacky. If you guys run across something that really fits the 1500 and does not look like too bad that would be very helpful. Would love to stop the constant buildup of funk on the flat surface of the side step.

I actually like the factory moulded plastic ones and they look great on the GMC half tons. I also ran Gatorbacks when I put fender flares on. They were the all rubber ones with the metal panel on the back powder coated black. Even though they said gmc, it wasn't jumping out at you.

I'm just wondering on the width are you running the stock tire width on your 1500?
