Steps For Regular Cab

Planning on purchasing a regular cab & will be adding steps similar to the Carr Super Hoop (20" width) or their Hoop II (10" with)

 

In the 80s my brother had a similar step to the Hoop II on his lifted K15 and have always preferred the minimalist look compared to nerf bars and "assist steps".

 

I'm just wondering if anyone here has experience w/ this style of step and which length provides the easier entry/exit?
