I got an email stating my truck has an Airbag Recall....called dealership to make an appointment, and the receptionist said there is also another recall on my '15 Sierra for tires. I asked for info on the Recall for the tires and she said "The writing on the tires is wrong"....I then asked "does this involve getting new tires"....she said she "doesn't think so being it only pays .2", and thats all she could find on it. Any idea ?

There is a small recall on Contintental CrossContact LX20 tires but it is limited to about 60-70 tires total:

It doesn't have anything to do with them being marked wrong so I'm not sure where she came up with that?!?!

Yup, this has to be it...Thanks

affected tires have a date code of 1815. any other date code is ok and will not be replaced.

Yup. I talked to Continental because mine are the same thing except built 2115 (3 weeks later). They told me there are only about 40-60 tires affected overall but they are recalling all tires from the "1815" week just to be safe.
