Morimoto Sierra Spec Question

I installed the 35W 5500k last weekend in my '15 Sierra. I'm super impressed with this kit and the light output, especially paired with the Rigid SAE fogs.

 

The only question I have is if anyone has noticed a slight "bounce" in the beam when travelling over bumps. The only time I notice it is say going 40mph down a dirt road or any rutted back road. In town, not so much. The bulbs are seated properly so I'm not sure if it's the bulbs shaking slightly or just the jarring of my truck causing the illusion.

Gotta be your truck jarring it making it bounce quickly, especially if it doesn't do it on relatively maintained paved roads

Have not experienced this issue with the Morimoto GMC Spec kit and it has been installed 2+ years on 2 different trucks. As Hntr94 stated it may be the roads you are traveling being well rutted out.

I spoke to The Retrofit Source and they recommended swapping the O-rings on the Morimoto bulbs with the ones from the factory bulbs. I'll have to look and see if there's any noticeable difference between the O-rings, but the bouncing is so minimal I'm not worried about it at this point.
