Installing rear blocks

So I have a 4 day weekend coming up over thanksgiving and I'm going to finally install the extra pieces for the RC 2.5 level ( top spacers for front, and rear blocks. The front won't be an issue for me, but the rear I have never done. I guess I'm looking for a few tips on installing the rear blocks. Can I leave the wheel on and just jack up the leaf spring? Any help is appreciated!

If you can do the front you can surely do the rear.

I would lift the rear and put on jack stands, but place the jack stands under the frame and not the axle. I would put the jack stands at the highest notch and you may have to set them on something to get high enough. Then put a jack under the diff to support it. Undo the u-bolts and slow lower the diff. Place blocks and new u-bolts and then the nuts. You can't just do one side at a time, or I should say you can't just jack up one side at a time. The blocks, leaf springs and the axles all have little nipples to line everything up so you can't mess it up unless you put the blocks backwards. They are probably not even where one end is shorter than the other. The short end faces the front of the truck to keep the driveshaft aligned like it should.

You can just jack up rear leaf spring. I installed my rear blocks a couple of weeks ago and it about 20 mins. ON A LEVEL SURFACE. Place a 4x4 block on your jack so you have plenty of lift. Position the block/jack on the front side of the leaf spring directly in front of the factory rear blocks. Don't put pressure on the jack yet. Take off the u bolts. Now jack up the spring enough to remove the factory block and install the new one. Slowly lower the jack. You should notice the rear slightly roll into place. This is why you need a level surface. It helps to have someone else there to watch and make sure everything lines up while you lower the jack. Once it's lowered all the way reinstall the u bolts. Do one side at a time. It's very easy.
