Wow.

I can't believe she kept going after she hit the guy. Then after she had time to compose herself, she still didn't go to the police, she tried to hide a l evidence.

Complete and total dis-respect, and lack of regard on her part.

A complete lack of regard and respect for human life on her part.  That is one of the most absurd things I have ever heard.  I think the state of Texas might have a nice syringe of "death-row juice" waiting for her.

something not as horrible happened in illinois not to long ago.

Younger woman hit a teenage girl with an suv.  Stopped got out looked at her jumped back in went home.  Called her lawyer.  Didnt even tell her husband till 10 days later when she and her lawyer ame to terms with the police.  She got probation, community service, and lost her license for a few yrs.  TOTAL BS.  She left a young girl to die.

FRY EM!

Yeah, that whole, I was on ecstasy when I hit them.  Just for driving in that condition she would get manslaughter, but then she let the man die in her garage and later dumped the body.  She has a total disregard for human life.  She'd rather let a man die, than risk getting arrested for driving under the influience, total disregard for human life.  I'll have to agree w/ you guys, she definetly deserves life in prison, w/o the possibility of parole, if not face the death penalty.  It's one thing to hit somebody, but it's another to stash them in your garage while they die, when they could've been saved if they were taken to a hospital.

i am an eye for an eye guy

Set her up in the street and ram her with her own car.  Leave her to die for a few days

Fry her....

I don't want my tax dollars to pay for feeding and clothing someone like that for "life".  Plus "life" usually means about 7 years or something stupid.

As insane as this chick was, I still have to laugh.  Not at the guy being hit and then bleeding to death but rather at her.

Yeah, same here, I wish that they'd lift that whole "no cruel and unusual punishment" for certain people.  Let them go through the pain and suffering that they deserve.

If you think about it, a lot of these murderers and such that live for years going around killing people, what happens when they get caught?  They get to live in jail for a few years normally while we as taxpayers pay for this and in some states they are executed in fairly humane ways now.  I think that for cases like that and this they should have to live for a long time in pain.  And for those of you who don't think it's "humane" just think about what they've done, a quick death would just be too forgiving.

If people had that to fear I think the crime rate might see a sharp drop off.

Well you know the new law in Texas is if more than 3 people witness your crime you get no appeals you get the express lane to the chair!!!  You know some states are slowing down the process and here goes TX putting in a express lane you get to go to the head of the line.  I just love Texas.  :0

    • You're better read than that Atlas. 😏   British science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke formulated three adages that are known as Clarke's three laws, of which the third law – that "any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" – is the best known and most widely cited.   Stribeck and the pivotable Hersey Number isn't voodoo nor snake oil. That part is physics. It's what marketing and bean counters do with it that is snake oil and voodoo.    Stribeck is the relationship between Hersey and the Coefficient of Friction. Within the Hersey Equation if viscosity and viscosity is 'Dependent' on.......heat.......and.......viscosity index or the temperature to viscosity slope.    Specifically Hersey is the viscosity AT THE TEMPERATURE IN THAT LOCATION FOR THAT SLOPE.   Hydrodynamic lubrication exist when the film thickness in the location is 3X the Ra roughness of the surface. This is irrespective of the hardness of the substrate. To obtain that thickness X viscosity is required for Y velocity at Z load. That's a lot of moving parts. It is also impossible to maintain in an ICE but nearly possible with a turbine under constant load.    What does that mean? Error heavy and operate light. Wear is inevitable but the rate of wear and the milage obtainable are a function of prevailing conditions and HABITS. The only penalty is viscous drag and at fractions so low as to be well worth the effort. Double the life, half the manufacturing carbon foot print. Greed is the only impediment.    The materials generated by SwRI are the RESULT not an estimation or a hypothesis.    Don't delude yourself sir, EV's have as many pitfalls as ICE's. We just don't know what they are yet and it will take longer to sort as MARKETING and GREEDY CEO's have had more time to polish the turd they are selling.
    • You can always count on greed to prey on ignorance and stupidity.    Friend bought a 2019 Ford Flex and asked me about using Valvoline R&P 5W30 in it. Told him give the miles on it and the fact it wasn't yet using oil that it was a good plan. He uses a Valvoline quick change shop for his oil service.   First they tell him that isn't the oil the OEM recommends. He told them he didn't care what the OEM thought. Then they floated the, "But it will void your warranty"    His reply was it's a 2019, there is no warranty and informed them their knowledge of the law was lacking.    Then they tell him 'But it will ruin your motor"!.    Mine to ruin he says. Finally they give in and charge him 150% the semi-syn price    Point it the brainwash is so embedded that even the service industry is drunk on their swill. The public is right behind them. Echoing the same lies on every forum and media platform. If the end goal is indeed EV then I'd say that ship is about built.
    • Diesel hit $6.00 here today at the truck stop.   Payed $2.79 for E85 today too.
