Haven't had to wash it yet, not suppose to for a couple days. And I took it to a Line X dealer.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the approximate cost?

$800 for Black or $1000 for color match. I didn't do the bumper but the estimate was $250 for Colormatch.

I'm assuming that's USD. That's not bad actually. I'm going to look into this. Thanks for the info and the pics.

No, I didn't have the running boards untill I got Line-x. Running boards will actually help. These boards aren't very wide, but rocks will hit the bottom of the boards and knock them down.

Finally fixed the problem. Color matched Line x the rockers. Loved the way it turned out.

That looks good! You can barely tell where the edge is... What did that run you if you don't mind me asking?

EDIT - Ha! Just read post #18

I have the 16 z71 w painted front bumper. It is rock chips galore at 8k miles. Don't seem to have problems on the sides like u do.

I'm having the same issue on mine at 6K miles and I paid extra to have the paint sealed and protected (along with the interior and underbody), I'll see if chips are covered under that warranty, but I'm expecting it won't.

My father has the chrome bumper on his 16 and it looks brand new at 10k miles. I bet I have at least 10 chips that are all the way through to the metal below
