Need advice on 2016 Accessories and rock chip problems

Any advice or thoughts are appreciated! I bought a new 2016 Chevy Silverado Z71 Tungsten Metallic. On both sides, Right before the rear tires on the box side, Is completely chip out from rocks, with only 10,000 miles! I need to fix the rock chips and fix the problem. As of now my plan is to color match lineX the bottom of the pickup all the way across about a foot up. (Fixes paint chips) Then I plan on getting fender flares. Don't really like the looks of the small Fender flares, But I'm not ready to put a lift or get different rims. Curious what anyone thinks about color matched, Bushwackers bolt pattern fender flares on a stock pickup. My worry is it will make the pickup look to wide for my tires. BFG All terrain ko2 tires. Let me know what you guys think or have any pictures of what I'm looking for! Also would like pictures with stock pickup with the small flares. Thanks.

I have a gmc with stock fender trim pieces. It still doesn't prevent rock chips. Amazing some of the places that are chipped and appear to be protected from damage.

I've seen a couple trucks with the fender flares and stock tires. Looks funny IMO. It's kind of like a really jacked up person with skinny legs. You definitely need bigger, wider tires if you go that route.

Damn that's pretty bad. Need some of the clear bra material in that area to prevent chips.

The way paint is going to crap anymore they might as well just wrap the whole vehicle in clear bra.

the paint sucks on the GMT900's too, I covered my rockers up to the moulding and whole front end with clear bra.. my Cruze had horrible paint quality too.

Yea I definitely remember how poor it was when I had my 900's. Somehow though my Cruze is even worse.

I just got rid of my Cruze with 115k and the paint was completely shot and chipped up everywhere doors hood roof

I have 45k on mine and it's ridiculous how bad it's chipped everywhere. Did you trade yours in?

Finally fixed the problem. Color matched Line x the rockers. Loved the way it turned out.

That turned out looking good! I know you just did it, but is it any harder to clean? Did you do it yourself or take it to a place to be done?
