I have a 94 Z-71 with the 350 and for me, it's under-powered. Aside from the usual bolt-ons, what can be done without affecting the computer??

 

Does an improved camshaft require a chip change??

 

If I go with an improved cam I will clean-up the heads too. Just not sure what I can get away with without having to spend tons of money on electronic mods.

My dad has a 94 regular cab stepside 2wd.. he did the hypertech chip.... hypertech thermometer throttle body spacer and 40 series flowmaster.. and that thing will run...

Get a cam, and new heads, I would definately get rid of the stock heads, they are VERY restrictive. If you bought a set of even cheapo performance heads you could gain 30 horsepower over stock, plus a cam change, intake manifold, oversized tb, and headers, you'd be movin!!
