My 17 seat is clunking every time I brake excelerat or turn dealer says is new track system under the seat and they can't feel any thing it is so obvious and has been driving me nuts for last month told them don't want it back until it is fixed any body else having this problem on their 17s

Service tech susposidly says 17 seat track is all new and seat fix from GM dosnt apply and if I wanted to work on my truck I would have kept my 07 d max that was three times the truck these new ones are a appreciate the help but I am not going to Tare into a brand new 60,000 dollar truck that is why I baught new told them don't want the truck back until it is fixed so figure it out all for home made fixes done many my self but am not going to start just yet

Then what exactly are you doing in this forum. Complaining? If you don't want to fix it yourself then take it to the dealer. Problem solved.

It drives me nuts that people come on here whining about a problem instead of asking for advice or adding something positive. Now people have to search through threads of pointless whining and makes it harder to actually search for answers. Cluttering up this website.

If you payed attention to my question about any body having issues with 17 seats can you read dealer is telling me seat tracks are changed in 17 asking if any one else has had problems with 17s sounds like you don't even need to coment sense you don't have any thing use full to add think before you speak

There's obviously a problem with your seat according to you. Fix it or take it to the dealer. It's really not complicated.

Dealers aren't always accurate.

You might want to think before you type, cannot under half of what you wrote. Any idea on how to use punctuation? How did you get to the point to afford an expensive truck speaking/typing like that?

Short answer to your question, you did not spend enough for them to thoroughly look in to your problem. If you spent more than 60k they might treat you as a big spender and take care of you, sounds like you just went a little too cheap for the dealer to care.

Love all these people using price to justify their complaining or thinking it makes them entitled to something. I spent 50k+ I shouldn't have a rattle on a mid level brand mass produced vehicle so I am going to complain. No, you certainly can and they can fix it if they find it, it is going to happen. If the dealer can't find it or replicate it, what are we going to do over an internet forum? Pick your poison...

It's at the dealer now they are saying can't feel any thing in the seat trying to see if any body else with 17 is having issues or what the dealers have done to fix them I am just trying to see what other people have found out not complaining just asking for help from others

14-16 seats are the same. 2017 only changed some cosmetic things. Deleted/added paint colors, capless fuel, teen driver, etc. 14-17 will be the same.

If your truck has a problem, take it to the dealer.

They don't know for sure if the parts fit or not. They'll tell you the DL3 mirrors cannot be added. Yes, they can. New seat trim for seatbelt recall only fits 16-17 according to them. No, it applies to 14-17 seats.

This can be applied to the first post you made, and contributes to mine. This forum gets cluttered with whining and makes it harder to search for useful things.

Mine started doing this @1000 miles, I just bumped the switch a little to take some slack out of it. At 1500 now and it doesn't do it anymore. Time will tell I guess :dunno: .

That's what I figured they would not redesign at see track and frame from 16 to 17 my dealer is very good guys giving them a chance just told them to figure it out that is there job but yes I know every thing is not perfect just trying to find out what other people are feeling on 17 seats

I'm so glade you are an expert in punctuation like my wife why are you even speaking on hear if you don't have anything useful to add dosnt matter what price it's a brand new truck asking if anybody else has had any problems with 17s some people can respond normal but have jack asses like you who are worried about how a question is asked do every body a favor and don't respond
