Not sure what model your looking at but yes they work for there intended purpose. Mine is rated for v6 or smaller and I got it to jump my 5.9 dodge. But the battery was not completely dead. So I would say they work pretty good. [emoji41]

They work fairly well. Best for a vehicle with just a dead battery. Not for continuous cranking when there is a starting problem. I have a couple of $50 - $80 jumpers. You need very good contact at the clamps.

My so has a 6.2 2010, I was thinking about getting it for him for Christmas, maybe I should just get him a good set of jumper cables! lol.

I've had a couple of the halo bolt ones. They work with a fully dead battery. The one I keep in my truck in the tool box though is booster PAC es2500

 

The small ones are good but this thing has last over a year on 1 charge and been used 10-12 times.
