The system has 2 places where it will intake air. The info released on it suggested the biggest issue was insuring it didn't injest to much water mist when behind trucks etc. They claimed that it was much easier to ensure that larger droplets (rain) and snow were kept out of the air cleaner.

Just like my gone 69 GTO Judge with Ram Air - it had a 2 stage metal separator built into the underside of the hood and water would not be allowed to follow the air +- seemed to work fine, also had an under dash pull to open & close it
