Taking an expensive plunge to fix my home network

About a week in with the new router system and all is going well. Speeds are good and consistent, handoff between the different nodes or whatever the individual routers are supposed to be called is seamless and the Google app you use to manage everything is lightyears ahead of the app Apple has you use to control their router (even the desktop Apple utility is a joke in comparison). You can easily see how much bandwidth each device uses and you can even block wifi connectivity to individual devices. This is made to allow parents to force kiddos to "unplug" but I suppose it's also good if you spot something suspicious on your network and can't immediately change the password or take other security measures (mine is of course locked down already).
