Don't think it was standard. Look in your glove box for code AU0. If that code exists, then you have it. Buy fobs and follow programming procedures outlined in google or YouTube

In 03-06 you could have electric power door lock without remote. Easy enough to check if you can't find the RPO code AU0. With all doors closed hold down the driver's door unlock button and turn the key ''ON'', ''OFF'', ''ON'', ''OFF''. If door locks cycle you have and RCDLR therefore FOBs, a GM#15186200 will work with the 03, it replaces the 127, 197, 198, 200 and all others.

If you do decide to get one here is the programming procedure for an 03

1. Close all vehicle doors.

2. Insert the key into the ignition.

3. Hold down the power UNLOCK button on the driver’s door panel-continue to hold
down until instructed to release in step 9.

4. Perform steps 5 through 8 in fairly rapid succession.

5. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (as far as you can go without starting the
engine).

6. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

7. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

8. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

9. Release the power unlock button on the door panel. The vehicle will lock and unlock
the doors automatically.

10. Hold down the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the transmitter simultaneously until
the door locks and unlocks.
This step may take up to 30 seconds.

11. Repeat step 10 NOW for each additional transmitter (including any existing
transmitters).

12. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position in order to exit the transmitter programming
mode.

Okay so I tried the procedure above and it worked! The weird thing is that it doesn't have the AU0 code but I guess the equipment is there, thanks again for y'alls help

Okay so I bought the remote suggested above, and the truck goes into programming mode no problem, but it won't add the remote, is it possible for the truck to go into a programming mode and not be capable of a remote?

Does the new remote work for sure? Did it come with a Battery? Or is it an ebay used? Never happened to me, you have to hold lock and unlock for a long time, close to 30 seconds on some trucks but usually within 15 the door locks cycle then you have to turn the key ''ON & ''OFF''. If your door locks cycle during the procedure it means your truck has and RCDLR module but it doesn't confirm whether it works or not or if the antenna connector is corroded of if the receiver part of the module is functional.
