Have you read the destructions about the device and/or the personal experiences here????

Personal experience, on my 2016 LTZ it kills the battery after 4 days. On the wifes 11 LT Suburban it does not. Range states that the vehicles with more options will be most likely to have the battery draw down quicker. Also the Range threw communication code errors, I had to send it back for re programming in my 2016, even though it was the latest version when I purchased it in spring 2016. Update was free, shipping was not.
