Anybody here ever use MPSuperstore.com? I ordered a Kenwood System off of them on June 12 that was supposed to ship in 1-2 days. I got a confirmation number but no tracking number. I emailed them on June 17 asking for a tracking number. They said it would ship in 1-2 days and I would get an email with the number then. I still do not have a tracking number. I emailed them June 20 (Friday) and asked again, but haven't heard anything yet. If I don't here something Monday I'm going to be pi$$ed!!!!

Anybody here ever order from them? Have any problems?

This is a while back and maybe things have changed. Last year I bought a Nikon 995 digital camera from them. The price was far less than anyone else and it came with all the factory warranties. I called the 800 number to add a wide angle lens to the order and everything went flawlessly and delivery was fast. I bought from them because mysimon.com rated them a bunch of stars if that means anything.

I'm waiting until tomorrow first. I called their customer service, but they're closed on Sat. & Sun. so I'm calling tomorrow. If I don't get something done right then, I'm calling the credit card company.

It really sucks to go through this. My wife and I are having a similar issue with an online retailer right now.

She was looking over a product on a website, had placed the item in the cart, then at the last minute decided to cancel the order. She clicked cancel instead of submit, but to our suprise the charge showed up on the account. She received no email confirmation whatsoever. She called and they said the item shipped, but that to ship it back when it came in and they would refund the money. However, they did not want to pay the return freight. Eventually got some manager or somthing on the line and he get all hot and bothered mentioning they usually don't even do refunds on sale items. It explained to him how should we have to pay a dime because their processing system made a mistake? And he comes back with where is the proof? My wife is no dummy and knows what she did. He's impling that she hit submit. Ok, well, where's the email? She did not get a single email confirmation!

Anyway, sorry for the book, we do a lot of e-business and 99% of what we do goes perfectly. I guess ocasionally this type of stuff happens.

Hope things work out for you Elwood!!

I get a ton of stuff online and this is the first time I've had any problems. Hopefully though I will get it worked out tomorrow. If not I guess I'll just call the credit card company and refuse the charges, then order from somewhere else.

I also do most of my shopping online and have only had one problem. I believe most cards work the same way and it is an online simple procedure so I wouldn't get worked up about it. Mine was corrected on the next statement and there is no interest owed on a contested item.

I have ordered from them with no problems.Product was in perfect condition and works flawlessly. Ratings are usually only written when people are dissapointed. You can be sure they do a TON of business over the web. There prices are incredible, however their communication skills aren't. Look at it this way, if it shows up a week late, was it worth th $200 you saved? Credit card company can refuse the payment anytime, it is not necessary to call them ASAP.

Actaully, thats not 100% true. Most require you dispute the charges within 30 days. Although, if your a good customer, in good standing, and have spent lots of money with them, i went 90 days one time.

As much money as I give my credit card company with all of my online orders I shouldn't have a problem. Never been late, and USUALLY pay off the card each month.

As for it taking a while to get it I have no problem with that. I just want to know what's going on with it. They sholdn't tell you it will ship in 1-2 days if it won't. And they definately need better communication with their customers.

I would check to see if they have actually charged your card. I believe it is against the law to charge you for an item before it ships unless they notified you beforehand.

I do quite a bit of e-business online. (45k last year on AmEx). I ordered a receiver from them years ago without incident.

The thing to keep in mind is that many companies have several "storefronts" online. As soon as one accumulates a bad rating, they change the name.

Before, I deal with a company I do a google search for their phone numbers.

Good luck! Your card company should stand behind you. I got burnt by a Visa one time. I threatened to close the account, cut up the card, and start using my AmEx. They quickly changed their tune. (went to AmEx anyway)

Thats the key. Everytime i start to get any sort of resistance to a dispute, the sentance "Well, then i guess i'll just have to stop using this card" comes out of my mouth.

Funny how all of a sudden everything goes your way after that, huh?
