Nitto trail grappler noise

I just got a new set of trail grapplers and I'm not used to the new tire noise, are some new vibrations part of what come with these tires? Like vibrations under the truck in front? Thank you.

It's called "lug thump" and the coarser the tire tread or a little feathering and the more pronounced it will be.

Yeah I haven't heard it until I drove on the tires a little bit.

I'd have to say, without even knowing what the tread pattern looks like, anything with the name "trail" is going to be far more aggressive than a regular street tire, and, with that, you get more noise.

 

Everything's a compromise. Give up a little comfort and quiet for alot more off road traction. Just like dedicated snow tires - work unbelievable in the snow and ice, but fail spectacularly on a hot summer day.

Can't say 100% since I'm not there to hear, see, feel the noise and movement of the wheel, but if the noise wasn't there prior to the tire change, then I'd say there's your answer.

yes it started with the new tires I had some lift put on professionally but I don't think that has anything to do with it. Thanks!

I don't understand all the hype for Toyo or Nitro tires.

I had nitto trail graps and they honestly weren't that loud in my truck, I've heard other tires that were much louder than mine, when getting mt's there's going to be some noise and vibrations but it's worth the aggressive look imo.
