2008 Silverado speaker upgrade

Hi everyone, I have an 08 Silverado crew cab with factory bose (lower end, I don't believe it's the higher end bose) with the under console sub. I've read several threads about those who have done some upgrades which has given me a good idea of what I'm looking at, however seek a little further advice.

I installed a Pioneer avic nex 6200, and it did give better sound in general, but I'm thinking I'd like to upgrade speakers all around and also stick a single 10" or 12" under the back seat, driver's side, using a pre-made box off sub thump or similar manufacturer (can get one for about $100). I have replaced speakers before, but just a plug in replacement, and have never installed an amp etc. I had no trouble with the Pioneer install, and figure I should be capable of what I'm wanting to do, with a little more research and advice. I'm planning on leaving the bose amp and sub as is, as I don't see any point in removing them. If need be for sound quality I figured I could always just unhook the sub or amp.

I've been looking at the jbl 609c component set for up front and jbl 628 coaxials for the rear. Thinking I'd get a 500w amp to run everything, and run new wiring but leave factory wiring in place so when I eventually sell I would be able to put back in stock speakers if I wanted to. I've read that most 3/4" tweets should fit in the factory location with just a little modification to the factory holes.

TL;DR would the jbl 609c and 628 with a yet to be determined sub and amp be a good upgrade and would the factory tweeter locations sound OK for the new ones?
