Starter problem on 08 4.3 v6 Silverado

This pass 2 months I been having a starter problem with my 4.3 v6 Silverado truck. The truck makes a loud cracking noise after I turn on the truck but it only does it sometimes. I have change the starter to a te manufacturer ones but the problem continue so I decided to replace it for a brand new on and on fortunately it's doing the same noise again I'm really scared and need to get this fix but I don't know what's making the starter go bad get stock. The first time I replaced the starter it was because it caught on fire after I turned on the truck on a morning to go to work and the starter stay stock to where it got all burn . If anyone can help me figure this out it will be great.
