BigBlueLB756 Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 What's not to love? Cost: ZERO! For the end cuts, measure down from the top of the deflector 5 5/8", mark it and run your masking tape across to it from the center opening. Happy cutting! 1
dbbd1 Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 I haven't done this yet but if it's like my jeep, it will cut easier if you take a heat gun (or hair dryer) to it, just ahead of your razor blade.
Heavy 5.7 Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 just ahead of your razor blade. There is a Dremel tool on the ground in the picture.
dbbd1 Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 Yep, noticed that but, I found it much easier with just a blade. And less messy.
BigBlueLB756 Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 Wife keeps the driveway swept, so I didn't care about the mess! 1
BigBlueLB756 Posted July 15, 2017 Author Posted July 15, 2017 (edited) Nevermind. Edited July 15, 2017 by BigBlueLB756
thebronze Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 Looks great and def cheaper than $350-$450 for a PPV deflector!! I would've gone maybe a little higher even. BigBlue what did you use to deburr all the plastic stuff from the cuts?
BigBlueLB756 Posted June 16, 2019 Author Posted June 16, 2019 (edited) Everything I used is shown in the photo. The cheezegrater and sandpaper block smooved it all out. By the way, that mod saved me some bucks the other day when I pulled up to one of those downtown gutter curbs and still dragged a little. Edited June 16, 2019 by BigBlueLB756
Dearmosd Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 (edited) 20min and I regained a couple inches that I needed after lowering the front end Edited June 22, 2019 by Dearmosd 1
T1Kaiju Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 This tool works great - took 10min...Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk 1
Dearmosd Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 Looks clean. I was worried that the vibrations were going to be too much and effect the lines of cut
