Rust spots showing on paint

Got them all over mine to Pearl iridescent. Will it hurt the paint if I leave it on for a period of time.

Also caused by semi metallic brake pads, see if they are on your rims too?

Dealer says it's from my brake pads hopefully the rust spots go away when the salt goes away

It will go away when you clay and treat the paint with a good sealant/wax

If you use iron-x before you can and clay bar your paint. They will go away.
