Howdo, I'm depotdan, I'm a Quality Control Engineer in the nuclear energy sector, I have a 2003 C5500 Kodiak, 6.6 Duramax. I purchased the truck as a heavy duty RV toter. I have been making modifications, the cab is a crew cab, basic interior, I fabricated a steel rear bumper, had it powder coated, installed LED lights and created a wiring junction box to make connections easier.Added a set of 19.5" Poly fenders with marker LEDs, I built a Aluminum diamond plate bed, a steel base for the 5th wheel attachment. Now I added a Jensen double din stereo with backup camera, I'm seeking information on the correct wiring for the reverse wire to activate the video camera. I want to add a 2nd camera to the rear of my trailer and have switching ability between the two cameras. The interior will evolve. This project has utilized all of my abilities, In design, fabrication, welding, and electrical. I'm open to suggestions and if I can help you give me a shout.

Did you want to tap into the BCM harness near the radio?

I take that back. There's no body control module on a C5500. Only way I see is tapping into the back-up switch on the switch at the rear of the transmission. It will be pin ''B'' and a light green wire and provide a B+ when in reverse.

Or from the back-up beeper but that's behind the rear axle.
