AMP tires?

Has anyone had any experience with this brand? They have a pretty aggressive tread in an AT and they make a MT too. A company here in Canada is selling them really cheap so I am just wondering if anyone out there has tried these tires

I saw them on a new leveled sierra here at a local dealership along with a level kit and black aftermarket wheels. Looked very tough.

Chances are the tire may be cheap for a reason.

 

When a customer comes in looking to purchase tires, we usually give them 3 options. A cheap tire, an average tire, and a tried and true tire that's always more expensive than the competition. We've done it time and time again for multiple customers on a range of vehicles, and the result is always the same. If they buy the cheap set of tires, they always complain of a vibration or noise issue, no matter how spot-on the balancing is. On trucks as beautiful and comfortable as these GMCs and Chevys are, it isn't worth it in my eyes to cheap out on something as critical as tires.

 

Just my 2 cents, hope an outside view helps your decision!

I've heard they wear very uneven, and it's better in the long run just to spend a bit more on a better brand
