Wireless car play or android auto solution?

the white port in my truck seems to charge faster than the ones in the center console. I have also noticed that when i inadvertently leave my phone plugged into the center console, it will go dead when the truck isn't running. I can plug into the white usb port and it seems hot at all times (even when the truck isn't running. I don't have any idea if that is correct or just a coincidence, but that has been my observation.

None of mine are hot when it isn't running/key on. I think that's stupid. What if you want to leave your phone charge on one of 3 supplied USB ports? Nope, need a cheap insert to go into the 12v round plug. Allllmost got there.

Wireless Apple CarPlay is available right now on an Alpine headunit only. By what I've read it uses Wifi, so if you connect to your wifi in the truck I'm not sure if you could use carplay at the same time.
