Front drivers side noise

Hi i bought my truck about 3 months ago used with 36k on it. Everything was fine till i got a cold day then leaving my neighborhood i hit a speed bump and it sounded like the spring was binding. Anyone else had this issue and figured it out? I have a leveling kit ready to go on but refuse to do it till this is fixed.
