Has anyone here in the forum done trailer brake harness install? I have a buddy trying to get it done on his 2012 sierra. Any help from anyone would be appreciated!!

Aftermarket is cheap and easy. OEM is very expensive and hard to do. What direction is your buddy going?

hopkins insite with gm harness will make it plug and play

I just installed a tekunsha p3 in about 10 minutes. If you have the towing package it's plug and play, not sure about the lower models.
