Need help with some quick info on a purchase today

I found a Denali at a local dealer and ready to sign the paperwork today at 9:30am. I just want to reach out to the group to see if anybody can run the VIN to see if it is missing anything.

 

This is what I'd like to confirm.

 

Does it have the offroad package?

Does it have downhill decent control?

Does it have the best audio package with subwoofer?

Does if the option to use the trailer camera?

Does it have rear seat air? I looked quickly but didn't see anything. Not sure if this is even an option.

 

I know it doesn't have the rear AV, but is this something the dealer can add?

 

Is there anything it's missing that I should get included or look for another with more options?

Hill Decent / Off-road are part of the same option, look for the hill decent switch on the dash.

Bose Stereo is Standard

Rear Air isn't an option on 2500/3500

Trailer Camera (IntelliHaul) is an dealer installed option (3rd Brake light camera is also nice)

 

Other options depends on what you want to do with it, I had the 5Th wheel prep package for mine since I wanted the smooth bed when the hitch isn't installed.

Truck is Z82 and Z85 no Z71 so no, it does not have the Z71 off road suspension.

HDC is Z71 only. Truck does not have Z71.

Has Bose and center console so yes it has a sub.

 

Does if the option to use the trailer camera?

 

GM accessory. Truck was not ordered with them as an LPO so your dealer would have to install.

No. That is a Suburban/Tahoe thing.

On the Z71, is there anything besides the shocks and HDC that is different? I am taking the cognito leveling kit from my 15 and moving it to the 17 so it will have Fox shocks. My 15 has the HDC and I've used it a few times but not that often. Should I look for a denali with the Z71 package?

 

On the camera, as long as it can be added, I'm cool with that.

 

Rear entertainment is cool if I can add it.

Ranchos and the HDC that's it. You won't be missing anything really unless you do any sort of steep off road driving, but between 1st gear in the Allison with the Dmax you may not miss it at all. Lots of powertrain braking in 1st.

 

As far as anything else? I can't think of much else LOL. Denali are pretty much ready to go IMO. I would add the GM floor liners which are their competitor to Weathertech/Husky mats. They cover more floor and are thicker.

Intelihaul is a very invasive install, watch the YouTube to see what I mean. I would call around and find a dealer that has already installed a few. Reason being is, you don't want them to learn it on your truck (which it is since you already took delivery) I had them install the system on their truck so that I could inspect everything before taking delivery and making it my truck. Good thing too, because they had to re do the camera assignments, headliner, and A pillar cover on their truck before I would accept it.
