Park Assist not working

I did a search, and found somewhat similar issues. My truck is clean, the option is turned on in the HMI. I have tired to turn it on and off with the switch on the dash below the radio, the light in the switch does not come on at all. I can put the truck in reverse, the camera comes on, the warning lines are there, just no beeping when you are close to anything. I do have a hitch in the receiver in the rear, it has picked it up before, but not all the time. Now it does nothing at all, any ideas?

EDIT:

Before left tonight, I took my finger and wiped off the sensors in the front and back, there was no sign of dirt or debris on any of them. I noticed that when I started the truck up to go to my sons baseball practice, the light came on for a second when I started it up, then it went out. On the way home the light did the same, then I pressed the button a couple times, and then it stayed on all the way home. When I backed into the driveway, the camera came on, the distance lines where there, and it picked up my hitch, and beeped all the way until I parked it. I thought the problem might be with the hitch, but that would not stop it from working.

I will continue to update this so there is a running track of events...

I think I had the same issue with my 2014. One of the seat vibrator motors quit and that's what cause the message to pop up. Maybe this is the same for you.

That's for sure, but for the price we pay for these vehicles, they should work as expected...

Side note, it's working perfect today, go figure
