I am having the same problem, started about two weeks ago. I have already done the g218 ground and it did not fix mine. I have a 2014 5.3 with 46,5xx miles.

i hate to hear that mine is a 2014, 5.3 with 48000 interesting, will it run? mine is completely dead and requires a rollback to get it to the dealer i was hoping someone from GM would chime in on this as it seems that the problem in not uncommon. ( i know from other threads they are reading and commenting

the tech that went through mine checked all three items and i have had it back about 3 weeks and it hasn't happened again, still i wonder when the next time i will be calling for a tow

Yes, mine still runs. I'm going to check all of the current ground wires and add another from the battery to frame and alternator to see if that helps. It's too bad that this seems to be a more frequent problem on these trucks. I hope you can get your issues ironed out.

Any news on your truck? I cleaned up the ground to the frame on mine and it didn't resolve the problem.

Drove it for a week while backordered. No problems. Only thing I changed was I took my wifes equinox key off cuz I had problems almost as soon as I put it on. They put the junction box in. Idk if that helped but it hasn't happened again

well it happened again started throwing codes same as before however this time they also had to replace 2 coils and the spark plug wires, spark plug wires were replaced at 27,000 miles and wow they lasted a whole 30,000 miles this time . when i got it back on the way home the voltage dropped it has always read right at or a little above 14 volts, this is what it is showing now. is this normal, i know nothing about this piece of shit is normal
