Need A Good Solid Step

I'm looking for a small unobtrusive step for the front doors of my 2016 2500HD Crew.

I don't like running boards or nerf bars but my lady has a bit of trouble getting in. I've looked at some of the options available at some of the accessory outlets.

I was hoping to find something small and subdued but was solid. I'm not a real fan of attaching to the rocker panels like most do. Does anyone know of something that is nice, solid, and maybe mounts to the frame?

Thanks for the responses. The AMP's are interesting but a little more than what I was looking for. I had seen the GM off road steps and that might be a possibility if there's nothing that seems better.

I just put Carr Super Hoop ii XP3 steps on my 2017 (part number 103991) driver and passenger side step is about 10 inches. Cost around 55.00 if you shop around, bought mine on amazon. There are videos on how t install. So far I really like them.

I would only have frame mounts.

If you ever hit something with them, no rocker panel damage.

Just did the same thing. Waiting for AMP to produce steps for a diesel.

So far for me it's the luverne with the frame mount kit or build something myself. Maybe it's ok but I just don't feel like I want to mount to the rocker panels.

I like the super hoops if they didn't mount on the rockers.
