bleeding brakes

2001 chevy 3500 van had to replace some brake lines and now cant bleed brakes. bled master and lines to abs but cannot get fluid out of abs to front or rear brakes

What programmer are you using?

You should still be able to get fluid out of the ABS control module to the calipers without cycling the module, correct?

It just won't bleed correctly and the brakes will be spongy? Or so I thought.

 

Either way, a proper bleed is going to need a programmer.

i thought the same that i should be able to get fluid through it anyways. i have done these gm trucks before and never ran into this problem. the rear brakes worked fine until i changed the lines. i have a snapon for cycling, but i now get a communication error and cant do that part of the process to get air out of abs unit, but i still cant believe that i cant get any fluid out of the front or rear
