service charging system trouble after installing powered AMP folding s

I now have a service charging system on the display every time I start my truck after installing AMP Research power folding steps and a power lead to a amp to power a few subwoofers.

yesterday the key was accidentally left on for a few hours but I was able to start my truck, a few miles down the road and my truck completely discharged the battery and left me stranded on the side of the road. Anyone know the fix. my truck is 2 months old with 6K miles. 2017 sierra 1500

I would start with a trickle charge of the battery at 2 amps to get it fully charged up. May take 24 hours.

I tapped into the post to jump the vehicle off, I figured that was the best spot but I could be wrong...

I charged the battery back to full charge, it was at a 10amp charge and has been on the charger for over 24hrs now.

If so you did something wrong.

I would disconnect both the steps and the amp (subwoofer). Then verify everything is working correctly. Then reconnect just one of the new additions you made use it for a while making sure all is well. Then connect the 2nd item you added. This way you will know what is wrong. You may have an additional issue since you left that key on, not sure besides killing the battery what else it would do.
