How does this dash part come off?

I'm looking to take off the cover around the 2 knobs. Does it have clips and just pull or is it the entire cover with the vent? Don't want to break it. Thanks

The entire thing comes out, vent and all. Just pull the side fuse panel cover off and reach your finger behind it and pull it forward. Sometimes the clips that hold it in can be tight, but the whole thing does come off in one big piece. You can separate them individually when it's removed.

He's exactly right. Also the bright silver surrounding plastic will come off with it in 1 big chunk
