Best Shocks

What shocks would you recommend to replace factory shocks on a 03 2500 HD? I don't tow a lot. Just want a nice ride.

I work with several guys who are running the Fox Racing 2.0 single adjustable shocks. Currently, there are about 8 employees here who have replaced their stock shocks with these to improve ride quality. We have them on several 3/4 tons, (1) 1 tons dually and probably ()1/2 ton trucks. I can't say they're the best but I have the Blue/Gold Bilsteins on both ends and the truck rides much better than stock boingers. I've never tried the Foxes, and would like to try them but they're pricey.

I have the Rancho RS9000 adjustable shocks on my '04 Sierra 3500. I don't know how they compare to other shocks, but I like them. The front of my truck is pretty bouncy, while the rear is very stiff, and I was able to minimize the bounce on the front and get the rear to not be quite so jarring.

I've been leaning towards those exact shocks. Trying to find out if the 5100's are a better ride vs. 4600's. I bet the Fox shocks are great but at about $130 a shock that's above what I want to spend right now.

I have the 5100 on my 2500HD and my F-350 plow truck and love them on both trucks. I would like to try the foxes eventually but the Bilsteins are great so far. Definitely stiff if you like that
