A buddy of mine and I have been working on an 86 chevy ton truck..and my problem is when we turn the right blinker on..the running lights and all come on any ideas on what this might be and how to fix it?

Sounds like it's pulling its ground (i.e., completing the circuit) through the running lamps? Check the bulbs and sockets and check your grounds...

Would you have to pull the dash to find the ground?

The tail lights aren't effected by this blink only the cab lights

Doesn't a lot of that wiring g come together at the switch? Would you have an issue there? I still think it sounds like a ground issue somewhere...

agree with sdeeter19555 you have a bad ground somewhere
